This week’s football action kicks off tonight with Man United facing Fulham. With Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool all winning over the weekend, pressure will be on the Red Devils to regain second spot.
On Tuesday night, Celtic will be looking to put a disastrous away record in the Champions League behind them, in the San Siro against AC Milan, when they look for a point that will take the Scottish Champions through to the second round.
The Premier League has just the one game on Wednesday night as league leaders Arsenal visit under pressure boss Sam Allardyce and his Newcastle side. Having lost convincingly at home to Portsmouth and Liverpool in recent weeks, Big Sam will be hoping for a big performance from his underachieving side.

CFR Cluj won 2-0 the Cluj Derby against Universitatea, and extended their advance to 11 points over the 2nd place Unirea Urziceni who lost 0-2 on home ground against Dacia Mioveni.
The team trained by Ioan Andone is still with out defeat, and the distance between CFR and the teams from Bucharest seems to be decisive. The last time a team out of Bucharest won the title was in 1991, when Universitatea Craivoa won the title in Steaua’s detriment, thanks to the goal difference.

Another day without a victory in Premiership for Tottenham. Juande Ramos boys don’t seem to get over the bad time they are passing through, and they get closer every day to the relegation area.
White Hart Lane was the witness of spurs’ 4th defeat on home ground this year. What started bad, with a Birmingham goal in the 14th minute ended even worse, with the 3-2 goal in the 90th minute scored by Birmingham’s striker Larson.
Tottenham is now on the 16th place, with 12 points in 15 matches, one point ahead the last relegation place, while for Birmingham the 3 points obtained today took them on the 12th position.
