Werder Bremen defeated Hamburger SV 2-1 and climbed on the first position of Bundesliga, for at least 24 hours. Bayern will visit Arminia tomorrow afternoon, and they will need all three points to get back on the first place.
In the other matches of the day in Bundesliga, Schalke won 1-0 on home ground against Vfl Bochum, while Vfb Stuttgart lost 1-2 against Borussia Dortmund in front of 40,000 supporters.

After Andy Roddick and James Blake brought the first two points for USA yesterday, Bob and Mike Bryan won in three straight sets the doubles match against Andreev and Davydenko and brought the 32nd success for USA in Davis Cup.
The last victory for the United States in Davis Cup was in 1995 when Pete Sampras and Jim Courier won with 3-2 the final against Russia.

Young Boys Berna scored 7 goals today for a 7-2 victory at St Gallen. Hakan Yakin scored four goals today, and became the best scorer in the Swiss League with 12 goals.
Young Boys are currently on the third place with 30 points, 3 points behind FC Zurich and 6 points behind the leader, FC Basel.
